During my scientific training at UC Berkeley, I was inspired by the Bay Area’s biotech industry and spent years researching how makeup could support — not harm — your skin. After formulating biotech-powered skincare at Biossance and makeup at L’Oréal, I developed a new approach: clinically-backed, skin-improving color cosmetics that nourish your microbiome and protect your skin barrier.
